They have their dorsal fin split in different parts, like they ripped apart.
My water parameters havent change at all, I got them about a month ago, though I thought back then my pH was to high 7.6, they didnt seem to mind. i change my 25% water as usual 3 days ago ( change it weekly) I will do a water testing right now. any idea what could it be? they are eating and behaving just fine, thanks!

are there any fin nippers in the tank? or any decorations or plants that have a sharp edge? im sorry for your sick fishies...if you can get some vita-chem, and maybe some fish protector to add to the water, that might help...goodluck!

Hi, no absolutely nothing, nobody nibbing at their fins. and this ripped looks absolutely natural, like their fin expanded too much!. I wonder if this is a sign of disease. I am so worried!

Thanks, but is not fin rot...and the water conditions are perfectly well....I couldnt find the answer on the internet....

Could you post your fish image? In that way, treatment diagnosis will be better.

Either it could be natural for discus to do that, but other than that they could be experiencing some stressfulness, I have met with people who have raised them before, but it's rare that it happened, and sometimes they survive and sometimes they don't.

I feel very sorry for your discus. You must have a firm bond with them just like my angelfishes are to me.

I know you must of spent a huge amount of money on the Discus, considering that they range from 50 - 100 dollars.

I've never really tried raising the discus yet, but I'm hoping to after my angel fishes feel better.

I'm still trying my best to get used to the people here who help me. I guess they really do have good advice. I hope I'll get more advice soon
