Tom | LOL I guess so. The demon probably will be able to handle any mini-cycle. You contradicted yourself now, now did you add a snail, or snail shell, last time I checked snail shells did not hide or move I wouldn't worry too much about calcium since you will probably only have basic corals and they probably won't require calcium additives. Snail shells may gradually add calcium as they break down I'm not sure, maybe somebody else does but I don't think it would add a significant amount. O I understand how much you appreciate all the help you get here on fishlore, I was in the position you were in 9 months ago, it's so helpful to have people to help you, though I learn the best through doing things though I can't always learn that way so folks here help. |

| I got a live turbo snail and I added some crushed apple snail shells for the gobies way back when and didn't take them out. And a large SW snail shell that I added for a nice hiding place.

| I was at the store today and the guy gave me 3 blue-legged hermit crab, some small pieces of LR(3) and some mystery fish that he thinks is an angel or some sort of damsel. I will take some pics asap so you can ID it for me.

| You'll want to return the fish unless you are getting a larger tank, your tank is too small to hold barely one fish let alone two fish, if it was me I would return it, especially if it's an angel. The hermits are fun to watch, you'll enjoy them, there always funny critters. |

I know what you mean, the hermits are a hoot, normally I don't spend that much time in the bathroom, but now I have a good excuse. lol

| There seems to be some territorial behavior going on right now. If you were me, which would you keep, the Talbot's Damselfish or the Blue Devil? I don't know which one I would keep and which I will take to the auction?

| I think you should keep the Talbots. The Blue Damsels are every where. You should keep the one that is more unique. |

| I guess it really doesn't matter, just don't tell people who are into saltwater what you are keeping in your tank, some may flip that you are keeping damsels in a five gallon high lol but yeah keep whichever one you like the best. How's everything coming along though? |

The damsels are showing some territorial behavior, but other than that, they are doing great.
