I just wanted to share pictures of these two rosy red minnows that I just got today. I know they're cheap feeder fish but I really like the look of them. I was going to get platies but they were unhealthy looking at my LFS so I got these instead for now. They have a 10gal all to themselves at the moment.





Anybody have any experience with them? Thoughts/opinions? They seem pretty easy to care for.

wow they are beautiful, I've never seen them before, and they are way too cool to be feeder fish lol =P

well, I personally wouldn't have done that. because you could be contaminating your brand new cycled tank with some kind of disease, because this fish are kept under such horrible conditions disease spreads fast. I have also found that the males chase and stress the females all day long, so she gets stressed and dies, that is just my opinion but yes, they are pretty.
