What kind of shrimp (or maybe crawfish)?

While we were at one of the lakes in our community (central Florida), we found some shrimp (we thing) small, less than 1 inch, mostly clear with a few spots. We don't have a photo, but does anyone know what type of shrimp (or maybe crawfish) would be native to community lakes here in Florida? Judith

Well it depends on what color, if it was white it was a ghost shrimp, red, red cherry shrimp, brownish blackish could be an algea eating shrimp
