My current tank is listed below, but i've been presented with an opportunity to acquire a 30 gal tank, and knowing the tin foil barbs i already have will quickly outgrow their current home, so i'm thinking on moving the 2 tin foils and my redtail shark into the 30 gal tank; possibly with enough room left over for a spotted pleco, or something completely different. Likewise, i'm thinking I'll leave my 4 tiger barbs in their 10 gal home, and possibly introduce a panda cory or 2, as well as using it as an "experimental" tank for some live plantage. I've seen the posts on java moss, and personally, i think i'd be more interested in some broader leafed specimens. Although I haven't given up on my "ideal" set of 120+ gal tank containing several bala sharks, a clown loach or 2, and a pictus cat. I may even oneday reserve the 10 gal tank as a hospital or breeding tank. additionally, my girlfriend has her eye set on a beautiful pink and purple chichlid we saw this weekend. Not sure of the origin, whether it be African or South American, blah blah blah...I guess the question I have at this point is if a few panda corys would be good tank mates for 4 mid sized tiger barbs in a 10 gal tank?

I think they might get along, but the barbs could do a little fin nipping.. the tank would be overstocked though.

The barbs and corys should be fine, but you would be overstocked. However, since corys are not huge waste producers and tend to sit stationary for long periods of time consuming less oxygen, you may be able to get away with it if you keep up on the the water changes and increase the amount you change each time.
