I have two peppered cories in a tank with a betta. I have little sinking tablets specifically made for bottom feeders (or so it says on the bottle!) made by Tetra and I feed them one every other day.

My betta usually doesn't eat all of his betta pellets or freeze dried brine shrimp so I assumed that would give them something to nibble on for the off days-- I don't want to fill the tank with too much uneaten food.

But I don't want to starve them, of course. Is that enough?

If there little bellies look nice and round they are getting enough..Your right to not want to overfeed..All the extra food just creates waste..Are the pellets gone in the morning?? It sounds like they are getting plenty because of the feedings in between. Sounds like a fun tank..Do you have any pics?? We love pics here.

I feed mine once a night, right before lighs out.

I usually feed my 5 Corys once a day, usually at night. I drop one sinking shrimp pellot in or half veggie round....they also get frozen bloodworms every 2-3 days. Also they get Omega One veggie flakes that fall down from feeding my Tetras and DG. Hope that helps.
