Cories slowly becoming less active...

I've noticed my cories slowly becoming less active and I know I have a rather low pH at the time which I'm trying to correct. Doing a water change later on in the day.

Could a low pH be the cause of their sluggishness? They just sit at the bottom now. They used to spend all day swimming around my wisteria. They barely forage for food anymore...

do you know your other tank readings? and whats the ph level? if they arent acting crazy at feeding time, we gotta figure out how to help fix that...any other time, its ok to be lazy now and then

Apollo take into consideration too they are nocturnal fish and may be foraging around for food at night. The ones I purchased recently ignore the food in the day time for the most part but it's gone by morning. Something to consider.

As Shawnie mentioned knowing your readings would be a big help. Best of luck!

Yeah see they were really active and then there was basically an overnight change.. hence my concern... and I'm still trying to figure out where my pH went.

Hi I know Im coming in on this thread behind any other tank knowledge then what you aquarium info offers. But have you added any new decorations, plants, shells? My new cory's are a non-stop swimming machine, if they stopped an laid around I would think for sure something is wrong. And it sounds as if yours was very active. Is there anything you added to correct ( raise ) your ph lately? Im sorry your cory's are displaying a hard time.

Just some aeration... I have nothing to add but more water...

so I found out my tank smells a bit. So now I think it may be something in the filter. So Tomorrow gonna do a full filter cleaning. I've QT's one of the cories that wasn't doing anything during feeding time. I hope he pulls through...
