We want pics of the babies! |
LOL I can't get pics of the itty bitty ones my camera is just not that good or maybe it is my camera skills. BB has some of the oldest babies maybe she can get some good shots of them. I bet yours will lay again you just have to steal the eggs when they are done laying so they don't get eaten. My "incubator" is a clear plastic cup with a bubbler going full force in it to keep the eggs rolling. I completely change that water everyday. As they start hatching I just slow the air flow down and then when they have all hatched they get moved to a 1 gallon tank to make keeping water clean an easier job, and the 1 gallon tank I only have about half full if that much with just two bubblers and a heater. I have a turkey baster and a kiddie medicine dropper that I use to suck the excess food and fish poo outta the tank and I use water from an established tank to refill and not just fresh since when I did the fresh water I murdered a bunch of babies. I am not an expert with cories that is for sure but this is what has worked for me....I have no clue how but it worked. Anybody that saw the setup would get a real laugh out of it...I still do and I came up with the whole mess and the funniest part is that it works.
Oh my. There are loads of eggs in there and she is still laying right now. She still looks pretty heavy too. It's gonna take me forever to steal all of these eggs. Looks like some of my babies need to go to the auction!!!
