New additions =)

I brought 50+ platy fry to my LFS, and though this is my 3rd trip, it doesn't get easier. I always feel bad for them as they leave a nice planted tank, with great food to go to a LFS tank to await adoption < sighhh >
SO this trip I decided to fill that feeling and got my corys, today, only 3 so far. They had healthy, rather large, Emerald Cory's to choose from. After a good period of acclimation they are swimming quite happily with my 5 adult male Platys. They are so sweet!! And they also broke up their ( platys) 'snarly attitudes that the males took up after being separated from the females.
so Im sharing this picture..being excited I have something other then my platys lol

Thanks alll ..the corys are doing great and are happy. Im pre-soaking their pellets, but not sure if they are finding their food? I have seen members tanks with these little plates and food, is this also done for cory's as well?
I would have loved a 'false' julli, or a sterbai ( which is what I wanted originally)
LOL ...Cory week! Maybe its a seasonal thing..

Hello Mare. I just mentioned in another thread that my Cory's aren't finding their breakfast. It's gone now though. I turned the lights out and it was gone in an hour.
They're all still adapting.
Have fun!

they are just the funniest looking 'professors' ( I like that Lucy ). They are so active, and extremely precocious in nature
Highly recommended for a community tank, sweet sweet funny lil guys!

*LOL Ken..well I will watch closely and as a suggestion from Pink, I can also feed them just before the light is off as the Platys go into sleep mode and they can peruse the bottom for goodies ....

best of luck through 'Cory Week' everyone

They are just adorable. I found when adding new corys if I drop their food in at lights out and in the same place for several nights in a row they had an easier time of finding dinner But as nosey as mine are it didn't take them long LOl I have platys colored just like those and absolutely love them
