cory food? and what type of cory is mine?

ummm...... do i have to feed my corys? they seem okay eating my other fishes... ummm waste..... so far. for about a month theyve been okay. should i buy these "wafers" or whatever theyre called?

and also: what type of corys are these?
they both are creamy-brownish with two dark, big splothes near their heads - one on each side. got them from the pet section in E-Mart - a big store in Korea. except in Korean they're more like ko-ree-do-ra-su.

Welcome to Fish Lore
All fish need to be fed. Algae wafers would be a good idea.
No fish eats fish waste, they're probably scavenging left over food.

There are several types of cories. If you could post a pic, that would help the members ID them for you.

The favorite food for many cories is shrimp. Shrimp pellets are an easy way to give them this food.

Sounds like the Korean language treats English words much the same way that the Japanese language does.
Lastly, I like the avatar pic. I still need to pick that game up.

ok ~ i just ran off to E-Mart and bought a little container full of little brown pellets.

on the cover it says "Wafermeal" and it's from a fish company called Biolife. it was the one with the picture of catfish on it (i feed my other fish Biolife "Topmeal" flake food and that has a picture of little tropical fish on it) and in Korean it says on it

ket-peeshee jun-yong-sa-ryo (캣피쉬 전용사료) and ket-peeshee sounds alot like catfish to me.

but the question is, how much do i feed them?

i'll be posting this question under a new thread, too, by the way.

and thanks to all of u for answering my question~ and all along i thought my catfish lived on fish waste.

Feed them so that they should be done in 2-3 minutes, that is the rule for most fish.

Good morning. I deleted your other thread concerning your cory's since it is a duplicate post (same as post #6 and 7 in this thread). It will be a lot less confusing to other members and should help you to get more responses.
Travel safely!
Thanks,
Ken

I'm not certain if this is the same for all wafers, but the directions on mine say: "Feed once per day. Remove uneaten food after two hours."
