Corydoras on a gravel/pebbel floor?

Hi, I have a 150g kinda planted aquarium with
6 tiger barbs, 2 rosy barbs, 2 pearl gourami and 2 opaline gourami

Should I put some corydoras one day even if my floor a gravel under pebbles floor?

As long as the gravel/pebbles are not sharp you should be fine, sand would be great, but what you have will also work.

sand would suit them best,i use larger smooth stones and my corys love them but alot of people on this site have great sucess keeping corys on the smaller type gravel.

The sand will eventually fall between the gravel and end up under it.

If it were me and I wanted sand.... I would remove the gravel first.

you could go fancy and put part of a tank divider, maybe 2.5 inches tall, in your tank with all the gravel on one side, and then put sand on the other, creating a sandy bed that would really add to your tank

=]

ps if you do this id love to see pictures of it
