Are these Corydoras?

Are these Corydoras? The LFS told me they were....but I can't see ANY on here that look remotely like mine...
Anyway, meet Giles, Rupert & Charlie the (suspected) corydoras.

Edited To Add: They're only about an inch to inch and half from tip of nose to tip of tail...are they pygmy corys? Or just juvenile corys?

Hi Shell welcome to Fish Lore
Your question has been moved out of the cory pic's section of the forum since you wanted an ID on them.

I agree, they don't look like cories.

It's sad that a LFS told you that they were cories...

OMG! If they are Chinese Algae Eaters...they're going to grow a lot..

I've been taking a good look at them...and the black stripe doesn't go into their tail...and they have clear fins and tail...? So they don't really fit the description of any of them...they have a suckermouth...but no things on the fronts of their mouths...?

http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=...num=3&ct=image a great link..scroll down...you will see its a flying fox but he does look more like a false Siamese

EDIT: the pic shows IMO , a false Siamese and a CAE ..the one on the subtrate looks to be a CAE and the one on the glass looks like a false siamese

hmmm.....Gee, I hope you're right...I'm tempted to take them back to the LFS because they didn't tell me very accurately what I was buying! I'm left not knowing what I have bought....

the false Siamese are great fish...the CAE could be trouble in adult hood if not fed properly..they will crave the slime coat off other fish but proper nutrition has some members with them without an issue.

at the moment the three of them seem to be very close and happy together... I'm guessing this won't last forever if the CAE get territorial?

I got two of them from one shop and the third from a different shop... I think I have one CAE and two flying fox/false siamese (I half remeber seeing Flying Fox labels around the second shop I went in where the two came from...) and have seen articles that they can easily get mixed up. One of them is different from the other 2... The two are smaller than the single for a start...okay...so, I guess its over to the forum for CAE/FSAE then.
Nice meeting you all and good look with your corydoras
