Hi all,
I have a lone surviving Albino Cory and want to get her a pal. I've read that CC are accepting of other species, but since she's the lone gal, I'm wondering if that would make a difference? Or would she just be happy to have a pal again? :-) Does 2 really make them happy or do they want a whole school of 6 or something? I am only going to assume that schooling is for protection -- my tank seems very friendly, no one looks twice at the cory.

I'm looking into a different species just because my tank isn't so colorful with the surviving fish: a Swordtail, Glo Tetra, fancy guppy, and my albino. Oh, and my new Zebra snail!

Hi lenore...cories are fun little fish and accept all kinds of different cories with them...I have 2 albinos, 2 sterbais, and 2 bronze ...they all intermix and love each other...

Thanks Shawnie! Since I live near you, what stores do you think sell healthy fish? Now that my tank has cycled, I'm reluctant to let anything screw it up:-)

they should be fine just 2, i have three (soon to add 1 or 2 more) and they never school. they just say hi to each other every now and a gain.

Thank you! I will get another one ASAP. I've been noticing that for the past 48 hrs my lilttle Cory has been frenetic on the right wall of my tank. Up and down, sort of shaking side to side and not really leaving the area. I don't think I have hiding places for him -- could he be going a little crazy? The water tests out fine & he doesn't look sick otherwise. I'm a little concerned for him!

He probably sees his reflection and thinks its a freind......deff get him one....it will make him happy.
