i just saw that panda cory needs about 65 to 75 degree water. I am running about 78 which seem to fit better for all other tropical fish. i plan on zebra danio, guppy, cardinal tetra.. all seem to prefer slightly higher temp. and cory lil lower temp. keeping cory at 78 degrees will make them unhappy? will they feel like me getting out of nyc subways on summer days ALL the time?

Are you wanting a Panda cory because they stay smaller or are they more readily availble to you?
If they are bread locally, they may be aclimated to a little warmer tanks.
Better check that out, tho...

From what I have been reading they prefer cooler temps.
To answer the "are they tropical" question, they are from the waters near the foothills of the Peruvian Andes
and so that's why they like cooler temps. than other corydoras.
