I have had 2 Peppered Corys in my community tank for months, always meaning to get a few more as in know they like to be in groups. I was just at the LFS where a Peppered Cory was all by himself in a tank fully of Angels, so I bought him home. As soon as he saw my two he starting swimming with them, and seems very happy. There were also two nice bronze Corys in another tank, if I were to buy them would they get on with the Peppered Corys? Or should I wait until the LFS gets some more Peppered ones?

They get along ok together since they are a very peaceful fish but they do prefer the company of their own kind. I know they will school together if they don't have a school of their own species.

Nick I have orange laser corys, albino corys, green aneaus corys and peppered corys in a tank together and they all school and sleep together I say go for it the bronze corys

Great. I might even pick them up this afternoon when the wife is doing the groceries. ( I hate grocery shopping!)

Sounds like a much more enjoyable thing to do than grocery shopping ( I hate to grocery shop also)

Well I went and bought them as well! So now a have 3 Peppered and 2 Bronze Corys, which I think should be fine. They are all Juvies, roundabout an inch long.
