How do I breed corys?

Can someone tell me or is there an article about breeding cory cats? Because at the moment i think i have a male and female cory and I had the idea of breeding them. But how hard is it? Do i have to take them out of the community tank? And any other detail.
Thanks

Do you know what kind of corys they are?
There are basic cory breeding techniques but some species need a few different things.
The basics of protein to condition them then a large water change with water a few degrees cooler.
It's recommended they be in a tank alone as the other tank mates may not appreciate the cooler water. This will also allow you to remove the parents after they lay or after the eggs hatch.
I suggest a lot of research before attempting to breed them though so you will be prepared.

They are peppered corys. I haven't bred a lot but that sounds quite hard to me.

Great Link. Can the different species interbreed?

I was always LED to believe that they wouldn't. but I'm hearing more and more stories about certain Corys interbreeding but haven't seen any proof or fry so don't know.
Let me share this excellent website for Cory information. Ian Fuller the owner is co-author of a book hugely informational about Corys This is the home page

Yes. They can interbreed. I have successfully bred my peppered corydoras with my panda corydoras and I still have some of the fry. I have some pictures, but they're not very good so I'm going to try to get some more when I move them to my larger tank.
