More eggs

My female peppered corydoras and my male panda corydoras bred again and the female laid some more eggs. I have some offspring from a previous batch in my old 10 gallon (I'm letting them grow some more before I move them to the 55).

I imagine that the eggs will get eaten before they hatch, but I'm just going to wait and see. I'll keep you updated if they manage to hatch.

Wow, congrats!

If you don't mind me asking, what are the tank parameters for their tank? Do they seem to lay their eggs anywhere in particular?

A friend of mine had her albino corys lay eggs and she took them out so they would not get eaten and hatched them. She of couse sent me some babies so I had to get some different kinds after that. I have not had mine long but I just love the little energetic things...always busy. Keep us posted on the eggs/babies.

Congrats! I wish my cories would breed. Baby cories would be too cute.

I read that they tend to spawn after a cool water change because the slightly cooler water is like a fresh cool rain. I've never done that though cause I figured the other fish wouldn't like it.

Do you do anything special to get yours to breed?
