Hey there!

I added one peppered cory to my 5 gallon to help keep it clean and he works great!! I am cycling a 10 gallon and am wondering if 2 will be plenty for it??

Leigh, I have two in my 55 with 2 snails. THey do a great job.

Hi Leigh that is great that you like the corys I love mine ...It will be ok too have 1 or 2 in a 10gal but IMO I would go with 3 or 4 in the 10g because corys are a schooling fish and feel better in groups of a min of 3...I would add 1 more too the 5 as well depending on what is already have in there...

Rob, right now the 5 gallon has an adult molly and platy and 3 babies in a breeders net. My molly was pregnant when I bought her. I plan on putting the adults in the 10 gallon and leaving the babies in the 5 gallon and use it as a nursery tank. I will get another cory for the 5 gallon and plan on 3 minimum for the 10 gallon.

Thats cool they should be ok with 1...I ether did not see how meny fish were in there or didn't clue in lol...They will like too have friends when you get the stocking brought down...


You will love corys when you get them schooling I can watch them in my tank for hours..I went out and got moonlights so I could watch them at night too...Glad I could help Rob
