Fat albino cory

Hi all. I have 4 albino cories in one of my tanks and one of them is a big piggy. It eats everything in sight and is always the first one to the food and if he isn't there first he shoves his way in real fast. He looks pretty overweight but it's kinda hard to put one fish on a diet. The rest are fine. Is it really bad for its health to be so pudgy?
One other question. I have a 10 gallon tank with a betta, 2 pepper cories and one albino. There were 2 albinos but one died. Is the albino going to be lonely? Should I get another albino buddy for him? Thanks!

the albino that you have with the two peppered cories should be fine, he should school with the peppered

as far as the little piggy that you have, i'd try spreading out the food more across the tank, and feeding after lights out. that should help the other cories get to the food a little better

He must have a good sniffer. I've tried feeding after lights out for my BN pleco and the cory always finds the algae wafer. I hope Kramer(my pleco) gets at least some of it. I'll try to spread the cories food a bit more. I might still have to call jenny craig! lol

It might just be a female.

true, if the cory looks a little bit barrel chested, she may just be a mature female.

As for the feeding, I agree, try spreading around the food, two pellets on this side, two pellets on the other side, and an algae wafer near the pleco's hangout ALL after lights out. Have your cory try to eat all that

Haha! I bet it would give it the old college try! Maybe it is a female. All the other are smaller than her. My pleco kind of goes all over. I think I'll try putting it under the drift wood. My angelfish try to get their fins on the algae wafers too. I guess all my fish are piggies. lol
