Corys not moving............

I have an established 55 gallon tank with 5 Buenos Aires Tetras and a Sailfin pleco.
I added 5 Bronze corys about 10 days ago and they do not move much. They tend to group together inside a hollow log and I very seldom see them.
Is this normal ? I thought they would "cruise " the bottom of the tank looking for food.

I have 6 peppered cories and they spend a lot of time just sitting too. They do swim around to find food but sometimes they are so still I used to think there was something wrong. That just seems to be normal for them.

Yeah, they just like to chill. Mine will sit still for a while, and then get all crazy for a bit, then just chill again.... they're silly little fish.

Yeah, cories are nocturnal, so they do sit in the back almost all day. Its nothing to worry about, as long as they come out at night to eat and stuff.

Thank you. It is good to know they are OK. Sometimes the only way I can tell if they are still alive is if they blink.

Yeah, that was my reaction too when I first got mine. I found them sitting on the bottom and came after them with a net, I probably gave the poor things a heart attack!

Maybe add an airstone, they love playing in the bubbles.
