Cory Extinction!

I had a full house of corydoras I had 2 Panda Cories and 2 Albino Cories and 2 Unknown Cories and now i'm left with only 1 Albino Cory and 1 of the Unknown Cory. I dont know what happened but they just started dying and i'm just clueless why because I have alot of Fish Tanks and I have been doing it for a long time. Please Give me an explanation for their death.

Its hard to explain why as many factors may have contributed to their death, a starting point can be posting your water parameters and we can work from there

What and how often were you feeding them? Would any of the other fish be tempted to be aggressive towards them? Did they show any sign of illness at all? What are the ammonia, nitrate, and nitrite readings?

If you can post a picture of the unknown cory then we can probably help identify it.

How long have you had the cories? If you bought them recently, did you quarantine them before putting them in your tank? Also like others said readings for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate would be helpful.

Looks like a panda cory, to me.

I would suggest buying a test kit immediately- it can really help you correct bad ammonia levels or nitrite/nitrate levels should anything go wrong. Even cycled tanks may occasionally go through 'mini' cycles where the ammonia builds up a bit when the bacteria can't quite handle it. Weekly tests are a good idea. Good luck!

Is there any way you could tell me the specific type of cory because the local pet store doesnt have a clue either.

i've never seen a cory like that before....normally they have the one black line near the eye, but then a line that runs across their back, that's a "skunk" cory....i havent seen two lines like that. you might have some kind of cross breed?
