Are emerald green & green cory the same??

I know theres "green lazer cory" but is there difference between "emerald green cory" & a "green cory", i've seen pics of a so called green cory kinda looks like a bronze cory. has any one heard of a "gold green cory"..

Green cory is another name for Bronze cory.

I think Emerald Green Corys are Brochis splendens, but I can't confirm that off the top of my head.

Emerald cories and brochis splendens are very closely related, but they are not the same fish. Brochis splendens (which I have) have slightly different genes and are not scientifically classified as corydoras. They also get a little bigger 2.5-3 inches.

They also have more spines in the dorsal fin. One of the ways to tell them apart.
