omg my peppered cory is laying eggs!!!!

my peppered cory & my emerald green layed eggs. peppered is the female she beeing laying eggs this past hour.. we are scraping them off gently with a credit card & puting them my nylon fish net, im going to buy a hospital tommorow, i ned help hatching them.. i need help please.Click the image to open in full size.Click the image to open in full size.the white dots are the eggs.

thanks ive been googleing tons of sites,i think i got it down. i seen that coryworld site earlier have to pay to be a member how dumb is that..thanks for the help.

its funny b/c i just did my water change yesterday nitrate levels dropped,& i dropped the temp down to 77,they say cooler water change causes them to breed, she witch i thought she was a "he" until today,she carry the eggs between her 2 little bottom fiins holds them there till she finds a spot to lay the eggs.

this is what im talking about the eggs between the fins,this not my cory but a pic i foundClick the image to open in full size.The female carries the eggs in a makeshift pouch formed by her pelvic fins before placing them carefully in preselected sites.

That sounds so cool...cory's are adorable..I hear they are not the easiest things to breed so good job at giving them a happy home. Keep up with the pics..I love them..

EDIT:...just saw the pic of her carrying the eggs...That is so cool.
I'm jealous your getting babies.

I was able to save about 15 eggs, the rest well the tetras & other cory are having a feast,maybe some eggs will survive who knows.

If they don't survive, they will probably lay eggs again soon and you will be more prepared. Congrats!
