How do I know if my cory is getting enough to eat? I'm not sure how much scraps are falling to the bottom from feeding the rest and when I put in shrimp pellets the rest of the fish go after them on the bottom with gusto. So since he's the cleanup...do I need worry there's enough left over? I am planning on getting a second in the next day or so as well.
Get a sinking wafer that is meant for cories, and throw one in every couple of days when the light goes out. This will ensure they are getting a little to eat and will be fine. Hikari makes a sinking wafer that I like to feed my cories.
My corys love TetraMin Tropical Tablets "The Rich Mix" Food for Bottom Feeders. They are tablets that sink to the bottom. That's the way I make sure my corys are getting enough food.
