Will Cories Eat My Scraps From Other Fish? What else will they eat? Will They Eat My Plecos Tetra Extreme Veggie wafer?

Yep, they'll eat all of that. They also love tubifex and blood worms, algae wafers, and sinking shrimp pellets

In my experience, pretty much anything edible that hits the bottom of the tank is fair game.

See this thread for specifics on what other FishLore members feed their corydoras.

hi penny, to answer your question, no they won't eat algae off of the tank and ornaments. they'll eat algae wafers, but they really need sinking wafers or shrimp pellets.

this thread is pretty old, you're more likely to have your questions answered if you start your own thread

Do not let the corys rely on scraps from the other fish. Flakes tend to lose a lot of essential vitamins and minerals really fast after they hit the water, so by the time the cory gets it, it has nothing beneficial. They need some sort of sinking thing, but they're not picky.

My corys' just love bloodworms either live, frozen or dried, they also scavenge on most things that hit the bottom like frozen or dried Brineshrimp and Dapnea.

One thing they always turn their noses up at is catfish pellets, go figure, but that is ok as the mollies love them.

I feed my corys 1/3 - 1/2 of a shrimp pellet per cory...and if there is anything that hits the floor of the tank ( rarely...lol) they will eat that too. Once in an while I will give them algae wafers to as they seem to like them.
