| Help Identify this fish I took a picture of a cat fish my friend bought my daughter. She thought they told her it was a cory cat. But I am not sure, The picture is not the best and you may not be able to tell. But am hoping someone will be able to help me. The little guy is only about 1.5 inches long he sems to be white with black and gray patches.

| Looks like a Corydoras paleatus, or peppered cory. |

| I think that it's a peppered cory catfish. that just my guess at it. I would get him a few friends if you have room in the tank. they like being kept in groups. -fishlover78 |

| So as of right know I have 3 guppy, 1 platy, 1 zebra danio, and this guy. Do I have room for any more? I think I am pretty close alredy for only 10 gal.

You'd need to keep an eye on the water parameters and be prepared to make more frequent water changes if/when necessary. |

| Def a peppered cory, they are beautiful fish!
I would say you would be fine for a couple of weeks especially to see how your parameters hold up. |

| 1 other question, what and ofetn should I feed this fishy. I think I will call him Pepper. I have algae disc, flake food, and will dried blood worms for an occasional treat. |

| they will eat pretty much anything they find lying on the bottom of the tank so aslong as it sinks, the cory should eat it  Last edited by platy ben; December 28th, 2008 at 03:12 PM.

| If you can, please add at least one more. They love company and it is so much fun watching them meet for the first time. I supplement feed my cories now and then to make sure they get enough food. I will add broken bits of algae discs or shrimp pellets to sink to the bottom just before the lights go out. |
