Can cories uproot small plants?

Hi. I am planning to plant my 10 gallon tank. I am going to use aquasoil and plant dwarf baby tears, HC. I am planning on getting a bottom feeder and am considering a few cories. Would they uproot the small ground cover? I am thinking of doing some sand in the front too. Anyone had any experience with cories uprooting small plants?
Thanks!
Clare

Ok thank you. I want loaches and I'm afraid they will uproot them. But cories would be ok too maybe. I want something unusual looking. Any ideas?

My 3 cories uproot any new plants that havent had a chance to put down roots, but once the plants are established they're no problems, same goes for my loaches

until plants are well rooted, any bottom dwellers can uproot. Once well rooted, even kuhlis won't be able to uproot.

I attach the base of the plants to rocks with rubber bands or twist ties until they are rooted, then they're find.
