Hey everybody, I got a cory 2 days ago and the guy wont eat? I dont know what the problem is I hope he dosent starve. I feed him some shrimp pellets that fall to the ground but he just skips over them. Although I do see him constantly sticking is mouth in gravel so maybe he eats scraps? Anyways im confused and scared cause hes one of the coolest fish ive have, please let me know some ways to feed him.THanks!

hello..what are the water parimeters? is this the tank that is 7 days old? cories are sensitive to water conditions so answering some of those questions will help..and yes they do scrounge on the bottom also

Corydoras are social fish, and can be extremely shy when they're alone. So it could be that your cory is feeling vulnerable, or it could just prefer to eat after the lights go out.

Try dropping the pellet(s) in just before you turn the lights out for the night.
