| We have a panda, three peppered, and one leopard. Depending on what kind of tetras and how big your fish are, I'd say you could definitely get a couple of pandas. They are supposedly smaller than other corys, but I'm not 100% on that. Our panda is no more than an inch and a half (and extremely active, he thinks he's one of our guppies). Generally, you should have one inch of fish (at adult size) per one gallon of water. I personally like leopards and albinos the best, but pandas are a close third. Our three peppered cories are great though, we got them as babies so they're excited about everything. Be careful though, cory cats can be deceptive as to how big they are! They may look one size in the fish store, but could end up looking very, very different in your tank. For example, the tanks at Animal Jungle are at least 40 gal each, and the two cories that we got from there were absolutely huge compared to what we thought they looked like. In that tank, they looked about the same size as our first cory, who is less than an inch, and they were at least two and a half! |
