my little panda cory is looking sluggish he's usually pretty active after 7pm. i thought he was just stressed with good reason. first the guppy had her fry and they kicked him out of his favorite corner where he hides in the day and then we have a heat wave that had my tank at 90 over night had to put in an ac just to get it back to 78.
i don't know what it is but his left eye looks swollen. im wooried he's become my favorite. i tried getting a pic but it to out of focus to see his little eye.

thats a diesease known popeye. the eye buldges because of fluids draining themselves into the eye, and is typically caused by improper water conditions. this can be fixed with proper medications, and a couple water changes. Watch that heat wave

thanks once i knew what it was i was able read up on it and treat it. my cory is doing better.the regular guy in the pet store that knows about fish is gone and the other sales rep kept saying it was ick and this so didn't look like ick
