Peppered Cory - Strange Behavior
OK - So on Sunday, we got a couple of Peppered Cories to keep the two skunk cories happy...Bought from the LFS as I do all of my fish....One of these little guys has been acting very strangely.....Upon closely examining him he seems that his left pectoral fin is shorter than his right. He also appears as though his spine is crooked....He has difficulty staying on the bottom of the tank and often appears to go onto a transe. He'll often be pointing nose up in the plants to the point where he appears to be dead...So, I take out the net and rustle the plants and he goes happily swimming along for several minutes and then settles down...From what I can tell, he hasn't eaten much and today it appears that his tail is a little frayed. I've added vitamins to the water as usual along with a little extra prime to help heal the fins.
Water parameters are perfect with nitrates <20.
Any ideas?
