Omg!, Omg!, Omg!!!!
I am sooooooooooo Excited, and Shocked!!!!

When changing the filter bags today, I found 2 (fairly large) Albino Cory Fry in the filter!!!!
I dont usually check the filter itself, I just change out the bag and call it a day, but every other month or so I inspect the filter for dirt and stuff... and what a SURPRISE!!!!!
Im not sure how long they were in there... I cant believe they survived!!
OMG!
 YAY, YAY, YAY
They are sooooooooo cute!

I never seen eggs or even knew I had a breeding pair... now I have to go and look up the breeding / sexing of these little guys, in case it happens again.... I would sooooo love that!

I hope they make it!
I am sure one will. Hes strong, swimming normally and is already hanging out with the rest of the group...
but, the other doesnt look like he is as lucky... I think he may be a bit beat up from living in the filter. One of his little fins is missing on his one side... he swims a little, more like wiggles his way around. (he is hiding in a plant right now)... I hope he recovers and get stronger...

thanks Kate!!
Im still all giddy about it...
I am truly stunned that I found cory fry in the filter. I find livebearer fry in the filter every now and then... when the livebearers drop, I can tell right away because they get so thin after they drop... so I always check the filter for escapees...
but I never imagined my corys were breeding. I was totally shocked that they were as big as they were too... amazing!

 Guys!!
The little damaged guy seems to be doing better, maybe he was a little shocked about the whole filter and release ordeal.
Ive seen him out and about, and even sifting through the substrate looking for food... so keep your fingers crossed for me!

HI pamd!
...the both of them are doing very well today, swimming all over, scavaging the rocks, hanging with the group and eating. I think they have grown already... ... Im so, so happy.
I think that the little damaged guy was so shocked with the whole filter/rescue that he seemed worse off than he was...
I wish I knew that have spawned. I would love more little guys, I cant believe how cute they are!
