I got eggs!

last night, around 8:30-9:00 my green cory was swimming around as if she had rabies, and dropping eggs every now and then
she probably laid close to twenty, but most of the ones that i could see were eaten last night
now i count 4 and possibly one more in a crack in the driftwood
if i get free swimmers, i will be getting a breeding box to raise them in until they are big enough not to get eaten by addai, then they will go in his tank for awhile
??ANY ADVICE??
thanks guys!

Remove the adults and all other fish from where the eggs are.
That will be the only way they will survive.
At 82 they should hatch in about 3 days.

Was there a male to fertilize the eggs?

I had bronzed corys which laid their eggs on the glass...never had babies tho.
Yeah remove, if you can the rest who will eat the eggs/fry.

i cant remove the fish, thats my only tank, i tried removing the eggs, but they got stuck in the turkey baster and wouldn't come back out, so i just piled some hornwort around the 4 that i could move cause they were stuck to the gravel...nobodys found 'em yet (fingers crossed)

i think i have 2 males, not sure which one fertilized the eggs...so i should still hike up the temp?

If they are white, they are probably not fertilized.
They should be yellow.

They will turn fuzzy and dissolve within that time.

they looked fine when i last saw them today (3:00) i'll keep a close eye on them so they don't rot and breed parasites or something
thanks dino!

No way! Cory eggs?! That's AWESOME, Kevin. Congrats! Keep us posted. Can't wait to see some wrigglers. Good luck with that.

They will be consumed by bacteria before they can rot.
It should not in any way be a danger to the tank.
