I just got a golden sucker catfish and I think its a Cory. Can anyone help me identify please

Could we have a picture, please? Oh, and corys don't eat algae, sorry. Actually, as far as I know, only some snails, some plecos (including otos, BNs and commons) and some shrimps eat algae. And even then, not all kinds of algae.

• Otos are good with brown algae, and they will also help a little with green algae.
• BNs and common plecs are supposed to be really good with green algae, but I've heard some people say they start slacking off with age.
• Zebra (nerite) snails are good with green spot algae

it does sound like a pleco, but i couldn't say for sure until the pics are posted. There are so many species of catfish.
