I would like to get cories for my tank (currently cycling). I know it is recommended to have at least 4 of them, can I have 2 of one kind and 2 of another? Are they still going to school and keep each other company (I love the spotted cories and panda cories, not sure what I can find in Petco).

I would think they would all school. But you might want to wait for a more experienced cory owner.

i think it would be 50/50 on if they'd school together.

When I had the albino aeneus, green aeneus , orange lasers, and elegans together they schooled together. I think shape is more the determining factor than color. Hum... they must be able to tell the difference some how because they won't cross breed.
