First corals in the nano

Took some stuff out of the 75 to start growing in the 10. These are duplicates so I may leave them depending on how they do. I'm not crazy about the light color from the Orbit PC fixture, still need to see if I can get another bulb I like. It currently has the stock 420nm/460nm and 10,000k/6,500k bulbs, and I'd like to change out the latter for a 10,000k/7,100k (blue like an actinic, not yellow like 6500).

I'm still trying to decide which fish to get. I was thinking a Helfrichi Firefish and Picasso Clown so it would be special, but I am looking at African pipe fish and possibly dwarf seahorses.

Wow, nice pics! Very clear. Firefish might jump without a top on the tank.

Looks great so far! Are those fire and ice zoas? They look a lot like the ones hubby and I keep.

*edit* If you like a more blue look to the tank, why not keep the stock actinic bulb and replace the other with a 10000K bulb rather than 10000K/7100K? Just curious; that's what we've done in our 20 gallon and sometimes I still wish it looked more blue.

I guess any fish can jump out of tank when not covered, especially when spooked. Those 6500K is pretty ugly light, isnt it? One Actinic will change the whole tone of the tank.
BTW waht is that thing which looks like LR in suspension on the upper right and what kind of rocks are the white rock. i am thinking Coral Rocks! Am I wrong?

Thanks!

It's only a 2 bulb fixture so I'm kinda limited with bulb selections. I'm keeping the 420nm/460nm bulb and will probably switch out the 10,000k/6,700k for a 10,000k/Actinic03 getting rid of the daylight bulb and adding one more actinic. If that's too blue then I'll go for a dual 10,000k bulb.

I have firefish in my 75 with an open top and no jumpers, however if I do get a Helfrichi, I will have a 1/4" net/mesh top, don't want that expensive guy jumping out.

They're not fire and ice zoas, they're orange with orange skirts and green/yellow mouths. I didn't care for the look of them in the 75's lighting, but they look great in the 10, but they were free, so whatever.

The rock in the corner is a "mag rock" that came out of my 75 off the overflow box, so it's well seeded with coraline and bacteria. I also put a bunch of rubble in the filter so hopefully I can avoid the cycle, and I have some Prodibio Biodigest arriving on Friday to take care of any spikes.

The white rocks are cured base rock from my LFS, 10lbs at $4 a pound, it's limestone based rock, full of holes and cool crevices.
