Hey all,

The reason my mushroom coral has looked odd lately is that my xenia has stung it and it has finally taken its toll on the poor mushroom.

I loved that mushroom coral and now its dying if not dead.

Hi Matt,
As mushrooms and xenias dont , or cant move around the tank, just give them a bit of space between them.

Might want to check other possibilities since would've expected the opposite outcome that is if any. Mushroom tend to have more potent sting/chemicals than other corals. Learned when corals accidently fell on to mushrom, mushroom usually came out as Winner. As other member have mentioned, give some space in b/n when and if possible so that mushroom has chance to recover if you think Xenia is the reason.
