Its even better if those numbers remain constant at that level.

Is it on top near the light (MH)? Always did better w/ VHO/PC/HO/Flo than MH w/ my experiences suggesting to me that maybe too much light?
How long has it been in the tank? Was it doing well (fully extended) before closing/receding? Any changes done to tank prior to this happening?
What is near its surrounding (Soft Coral, Mushrooms, etc)

Saw your video. I guess plate on top, Giant cup mushroon below and mushrooms. Maybe my eyes are not as good as it used to be, i could not determine the rest of corals for sure. If pics of this elegant is available, can you post?

Without moving the coral, examine the tissue around the tip of skeleton. Do you see any deteroation/tear/pinkish fuzzy slime?

Wondering if you have access to Lugol's Solution??

Have you tried target feeding? (Go easy with food, not directly on it).
If it has been on the bottom all this time and seemed to have retracted, how about moving them upward little at a time to mid level. Always did better with more circulation around them.
Dont shoot the water right onit though.
Do you just have MH w/ no Actinic lighting. Try T5 or PC (w/ day and actinic). Try timers on lighting to simulate the sun, gradually increasing and decreasing intensity.
Have actinic on first(6AM) then Day (9AM) then MH day (11-5PM) then shut off Day at 7 and actinic at 9PM. It's close but simulates w/o spending on IceCap or its equivalent. Time setiing can be determined by you. I just gave you an idea.

In case tissue deteriorating, should do iodine dip and use syrynge to target infected area to blow off dead/dieing tissues. If continues, can even tried to break and save healthy portions of corals. May not work all the time, but better than let the whole thing melt down.
Maybe associated with pathogen or collecting from different areas (different conditions; light, current, food, depth, etc). Seems to hear more problems with Elegance lately compared to when it was pretty easy to handle about 20 yrs ago.
