First batch of babies

My new pair of convicts had there first batch of eggs. I have had convicts before and they have always laid eggs on a flat level surface. Is it ok for them to lay them vertical on a wall? Will they be duds? heres a pic, the best I could get. There are a lot more egg further up inside the cave.

Congratulations! I agree, they look fertilized.

If they turn white after 24 hours, they won't hatch.

Keep us posted! Convict fry are fun!

Update

When I came home from work last night I thought my convict ate her babies! But then I realized she had moved them (phew) into the Terra cotta pot. They are starting to look more like fish. I think I can see eyes on some of them.Maybe?
