My male con changing colors

My male cons constantly changing colors when its breeding time and not breeding.
Just though I'd share a couple pics of him

Ah, that's why he's developing the hump. I don't think any of my males have the hump yet, but I'm just barely starting to see it on a few of them.

He is beautiful! You've got excellent taste in convicts.

They do show up perfectly during breeding. I cant get a decent pic of her beacase shes so fast!

Depend on what type of con your talking about

Usally they color up during breeding time yes

very true, watching babies grow up is amazing lol, my 3rd batch in 3 months are so tiny but when you take a second and lean back they are every where , your couple with probably spawn before you know it and little dots will be all over your tank

ya well i had 3 spawns already only one of wich hatched but now i have fry in my tank. but i have 4 convicts two males two females both are breeding pairs but they are always grey. does that just mean that they wont change or what?

I dont think you should have to seperate pair of cons unless you have a divider. There agressive creatures when breeding. As for the colors goes if you have a certain type of con they will change colors depending on the foods you give them or when there breeding

they have been together for a long time and they both stay on seprate sides of the tank. because my tank is longer rather than wide so they mostly stay away form each other. the males were fighting for a little about one corner but its was wierd because the smaller one won.
