I got the pair!!!

First, I want to thank everyone for their input and help.

After considering everyones input ... I went ahead and got the pink male and the female with stripes. Being that they're convicts (outlaw types) ... their names are Bonnie & Clyde.

Thanks everyone. Your advice LED to the decision ... and I couldn't be happier with the choice.

I observed them for awhile upon returning to the store ... and they seemed great together. As I mentioned, there was another stripped male in the tank with them at the store, and not only would my pink male chase him away from my female, but my female showed aggression towards him as well.

I'll post pics as soon as I complete the aquascaping. I have stuff coming from DFS.

Thanks again everyone.
