Can I Keep Them All?

Last weekend, I brought home 6 teenage striped cons and 6 pink cons (thank you SWilkins)

As some of you know, I like to keep my fish. I don't like to re-home them.

I'm working on a plan on how to keep them all, but I would like to verify that my plan should work (with cons, it's always a bit of a gamble, and I know this).

Two pinks are staying in the 20 gallon upstairs-that's my daughters.

I was going to put two or three in each of our african cichlid tanks.

Two (possibly 3?) would stay in the 29 gallon they're currently in.

Could I put two or three in with my JD and RTS in my 55 gallon?

The pinks are in the very juevenile stage, so I can't sex them yet.

So far, I think (still kinda young), that we have 2, maybe 3 female striped, and the others seem to be male. They're just barely starting to show sex.

Any thoughts, opinions, and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm still going to try another male with Karma when I re-do her substrate and re-arrange her tank, but she was NOT very cooperative last time I tried it.

.
such a great fish mommmy!!!!!!! with proper acclimation, yes you can put some in with your africans as long as they arent the size of a nice meal....ones that grow up in that tank are much more smart to stay away I think than ones that arent use to the agression of africans....and yes you can put 2 in with the jd and rts also...again, as long as they arent a meal you are good to go!

Thank you! I do love my babies. I was just editing. I forgot about the itty bitty pink upstairs, so I have six pinks.

So what do you think would be the best way to do this?

Also, one of the female striped is the same size as Cleo, who's also the same size as George the JD. Should I put her in there now while they're the same size? There's also a male who is close to the same size that Karma refused to accept. I'll be re-doing George's substrate this week or next (bi-polar-me?).

when you are redoing everything, add them then....they are small so their bioload shouldnt be too bad...add the newbies first then put george back last..I have no clue how you change your subtrate so much LOL its a back breaker!!!!

I know and I ABSOLUTELY HATE cleaning new substrate. I just want my fish to look pretty and hopefully show up on camera better, hee, hee. More than likely, once I re-do the substrates this time, I won't be doing it again for a very long time.
