I recently had my girlfriend pick me up a fish from the pet store while she was out running errands and she thought she would surprise me and bring home 4 fish instead of 1. Well she bought 2 convict cichlids and 2 africans, they are most generally the same size and they have been in the tank for 36 hours now, there is a lot of hiding spots including fake plants, rocks, and caves.....they seem to be doing really well but i was also told that the convicts and africans have different water parameters, ive been monitoring the water and it is doing good, the temp is 78, and the
pH is 8.0.....so far so good, does anyone see any problems with this?
