How many female convicts could i place in one 30 gallon?

They are 4in full grown, so 30/4 is about 6.

I wouldn't keep that many though, even females can be aggressive towards each other.

On another note, please try to keep related posts together, you could have asked this question in your other post about the males, it helps the forum stay organized.

Yeah somewhere around 4 would be ok, but have lots of decor in there to serve as territory markers.

I wouldn't keep 4 Convicts in a 30gal. They're really aggressive and you'd have territory problems. IMO 2 at the most.

I sersiously wouldnt put anything but a mating pair (then you have babies everywhere) or put them with bigger cichlids..they will kill one another if the same sex....30 gal isnt big enough to be safe IMO
