Next question: I've got these 70-plus fry that are getting their stripes and are about 1/2-inch long at a stretch. When do they become old enough to sell/trade/give away? Right now, I can't imagine them as anything but fish food for larger fish. CC

Not sure about Convicts, but my Kribs go to the store at 6 weeks, although only to a holding tank

if you can find a store to take them, its usually around 2-4 months...they all grow at different rates depending on dominance for food
