my dilemma

i have a 30 gallon freshwater-aggressive, a 20 gallon freshwater community, and a 12 gallon nano saltwater. in my 30 gallon i have a 5 or 6 inch silver arowana, and 4 or 5 inch oscar, two convict cichlid parents, a firemouth cichlid, an african cichlid, a pleco and like 30 convict babies in an in tank breeder refugium thing, someday soon a i have to buy a 75 gallon cuz arowanas dont stay small.. but until then i have no room for more cichlids. so how much would they fetch from a local store or craigs list or something.

welcome to fishlore!!

all I can say is WOWSERS!!!!! on that 30 gal...how long have you had it with all those agressive fish in it?? .im surprised you havent had massive kill off in there....that 30 gal is good for the convict and fry alone....if I were you, id be selling off some fish quick..how old are the convict fry? most locat stores or craigslist wont take convicts as they breed like rabbits...I give mine away for free...unless you are in an area where they are hard to come by....an arrowana requires alot more than a 75 gal..more like 500 gal...goodluck with your adventure!

I agree with Shawnie.
500+ gal. for an arowana, 55+ gal. for an Oscar, then the 30 gal. for the convicts. Depending on the pleco, they can reach over a foot in length and need a 75 gal. tank. African cichlids need to be in a species only tank. The firmouth could be kept alone in a 20 gal.
And that's the fish as singles.
I would take most of the fish back to your LFS ASAP.
