Tank cleaning with eggs

Hey everyone, I was wondering if it would be ok if you cleaned my tank even though I don't think my convicts eggs have hatched. Should I just clean one side and leave the other or leave it alone all together??....thanks for your help

cleaning with eggs is easier than when they are free swimming...once mine spawn, I do a tank cleaning and then I dont do anything until they are bigger and dont get sucked up the hose...thats provided tank conditions are up to par with 0 ammonia and nitrites, and under 15 nitrates

There is a flower pot on its side and the pair made a nice little cave right under it and thats where the eggs were.
UPDATE: I seen a couple of wrigglers inside the flower pot!...

I think I will do a cleaning just on the other side of the tank for now.
My h20 parameters are good.

Well, I'm going to my LFS to see if they will take some and probably put an ad on craigslist. What do I feed the fry??..I've heard brine shrimp, but where do i get that at??

Brine shrimp, also convicts will eat crushed flakes.
Good luck, I know my LFS's will not take convicts.

Lots Of LFS are jam packed with convicts and most of the time wont take them in. Although i suppose you may be lucky

My LFS said that they're too aggressive to stock & breed like rabbits.
Most use them as live food I guess.
