Harley

Went to my LFS today and they had 2 small males (half to 1''). I dicided I would get them and put them in with my 2'' female people say that they take good care of there young so I thought I would try it. I told the person there to get everything set up for netting while I went to get a new airpump. Came back picked out the ones I wanted figured out the price and stuff, went back to the bag and they were lying on there sides not swimming but still breathing. I felt the bag, she used tap water on them!! They went into shock I was really upset. I took them out put them in warm water from the tank (didnt know what else I could do!! They did start to come around when I was going!!). I didnt buy them even if they did live the cold water the stress of putting them in a new home after shock would likly be to much for them to handle!! After all of that she said she wasn't even trained to do anything with fish!! Next time I go Ill do it myself, they never really please me there!!
