Marine Depot

I haven't ordered anything live but I have purchased nearly $1200 worth of equipment from Marinedepot.com. I use Marine Depot for everything, from filter media and additives, to all my marine aquarium equipment. My skimmer, filters, lighting, etc. Everytime I look around for prices else where I find I get the same or better on Marine Depot. They have free shipping on orders of $175 or more which is kind of a lot, but I just buy in bulk. I highly recommend checking them out. They have fresh and marine by the way. I use them for my fresh supplies also. The quality of product and service tells me a live order would be well shipped. I plan to order some stuff after I move and get settled in. I'll post a review of my experience after that.

Re: Marine Depot

I've had excellent service from them also, though recently they raised the prices on a lot of products

Re: Marine Depot

They also have http://www.marinedepotlive.com/ which is for the live fish, corals and inverts... I haven't purchased any live fish from them, but I've bought dry goods from them in the past and they are fast with shipping out orders.

I ordered a 48" T5 lighting fixture from Marine Depot that arrived on Tuesday. When I unpackaged it, I discovered the housing was damaged...a chunk knocked out of the side right by the switch. I emailed them Tuesday night, and Wednesday morning I got a response that they were 2nd day airing a replacement to me and arranging to have the damaged one picked up. No questions asked. So...while I am obviously disappointed that the unit arrived damaged, kudos to Marine Depot for handling it quickly and smoothly.

Bah! They take 6 days for me normally. Though they did 2nd day this replacement light fixture. It got here yesterday. The fixture itself is ok this time, but one of the actinics is broken.

Anybody bought any livestock from them?
