I just wanted to share with everyone a recent online shopping experience I had on DGA-online.com.
Let me start off by saying that it appears that DGA-Online is more of a pond and garden store, but they had the product I was looking for and were truely a pleasure to work with.
To make a very long story short, I purchased some submersible
LED lights for my aquarium. I recieved the lights, setup my tank, filled with water, went to show off to my wife and boom, one of the lights blows out. I had to drain the whole tank, take out the light, and was worried about what I was going to do, seeing as how the came from Oregon and I am located in Chicago.
I emailed dga-online, and explained to them what had happened. I worked with a lady named Gale, who was very helpful. She worked with the manufacturer and had them send me out a replacement that day. She also mentioned to me that I once I recieved the new light, send her the old one back and let her know shipping costs, and she would reimburse me through PayPal. A couple days later, I get a new light, send her the old one and sure enough, I now have a $3.21 credit to PayPal.
Sorry for the long post, but I rarely purchase through the net becasue of potential issues like this and am just really impressed by the customer service that was given to me (on a simple $48.00 order too!). I would definitely purchase from them again.
